Feijoada, the dish that brings people together

Black beans, slow-cooked meats and long tables: all about feijoada, our house speciality.

Feijoada is one of Brazil’s most famous dishes, and you will also find it in Portugal and across the Portuguese-speaking world. Its name comes from feijão, the bean.

A dish of patience

The idea is simple: black beans slowly cooked with several cuts of meat, until the sauce becomes thick, melting and fragrant. Every family has its own recipe, its meats, its spices, and each one is sure theirs is the best.

A dish to share

In Brazil, feijoada is often enjoyed on Saturdays, with family or friends, without hurrying. It is a generous, comforting dish that calls for long tables and long conversations.

At our place

It is the house speciality. Chef Humberto makes it the way you would at home: with time and generosity. Served with rice, it is hearty, so come hungry!
